The Emergency Services Foundation has established the inaugural ESF Family Matters Advisory Group, made up of family members of emergency service volunteers and paid staff.
The ESF Family Advisory Group will aim to ensure that our Family Matters strategy resonates with the diverse experiences of families from across sector in Victoria. (See more about the Family Matters Strategy here).
The unique insights and experiences of family members of ES workers are incredibly valuable to us, and their involvement in the advisory group will provide an essential perspective in shaping and enhancing the family support initiatives provided by ESF.
Key responsibilities of the ESF Family Matters Advisory Group include:
- Providing input on the development of new initiatives to strengthen family well-being.
- Providing insights into the specific challenges and needs faced by families across the emergency services sector.
- Ensuring that strategies implemented are inclusive and address the diverse needs within our emergency services community.
- Sharing feedback on any existing family support programs.
