St John Ambulance

St John Ambulance is a charity in the Victorian community working For the Service of Humanity. We exist to help those who are in suffering and danger, sickness and distress. We have 2,500 volunteers and 550 staff who provide a wide range of services including: First Aid Services at events; First Aid training; free First Aid training to over 170,000 primary school children annually; Non-emergency patient transport; Coroners Court deceased persons transport; First Aid products and medical equipment; Community transport; Public Access Defibrillator programs; and, CPRLab, a free CPR program to the public.

Mental Health and Wellbeing

Our focus is making St John a Safe Place. Whether  volunteer or member of staff, we want our people to feel psychologically and physically safe and supported. During the pandemic we have seen a heightened need for mental and emotional health support and are providing programs to assist our people.

Collaborating with ESF

The opportunity to interact and learn from others experience in the sector about how to better support the mental health and wellbeing of our people. Generally improve our networking in the sector.
